Payment
Custom Orders: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon placing the order. The remaining balance must be paid in full 72 hours prior to pick-up/delivery. Failure to pay in full 72 hours before pick-up/delivery will result in order cancellation.
Pre-order Specials: Full payment is required upon ordering.
Payment must be done online through hammyshomemade.com. Cash payments are not accepted.
Allergy Information
All customers are advised to inform Hammy’s Homemade of any food allergies at the time of ordering. Hammy’s Homemade will make every effort to accommodate allergy requests, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Texas Cottage Food Law Requirements
Hammy’s Homemade operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law which allows the sale of homemade food products directly to consumers. This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department.
Delivery
Hammy’s Homemade and the customer will decide on a 1 hour time slot for delivery. If the customer fails to receive the cake past the 1 hour time slot, a fee of $1 per minute past delivery time will be charged to the customer's card on file. If the customer fails to receive the cake, and does not show up to delivery location, Hammy’s Homemade has the right to charge the customer and refuse delivery.
Hammy’s Homemade has the right to refuse delivery if delivery location is unsafe, hazardous, or poses a threat to the delivery driver's health.
Pick-Up
Hammy’s Homemade and the customer will decide on a 1 hour time slot for pick-up. If the customer fails to pick-up the cake past the 1 hour time slot, a fee of $15 per hour past delivery time will be charged to the customer's card on file. If the customer fails to pick-up the cake before the end of the business day, Hammy’s Homemade has the right to charge the customer and refuse pick-up.
Changes to a Confirmed Custom Order
Changes can be made to custom orders up to 72 hours in advance. Changes made after that time period will result additional fees.
Cancellation Policy
Orders must be cancelled 72 hours in advance for pre-order specials and 7 days for custom orders.
In the event of cancellations within the specified time frame, customers will receive store credit for the remaining balance.
Refund Policy
At Hammy's Homemade, each scratch made cake is lovingly baked with care, creativity, and high-quality ingredients. We are committed to providing cakes that not only look beautiful but taste amazing. Due to the sensitive nature of these products, Hammy's Homemade has the following refund policies in place: ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Accuracy and Quality Concerns: If you believe that there is a mistake with your order, or a concern about product quality (e.g. wrong item, missing items, or quality that doesn't meet our high standards), please notify us within 24 hours of pick-up or delivery. We will request photos or a return of the product in question to evaluate the issue.
If a mistake was made on our end, Hammy's Homemade will make it right by one of the following: store credit, partial or full replacement of the product, or discount on a future order.
Once a product has been partially or fully consumed, Hammy's Homemade will not be able to verify the concern and store credit or replacements will not be offered.
Pick-up and Delivery Responsibility: Once and order leaves our hands, either picked up or delivered, Hammy's Homemade is not responsible for any damages that occur in customer possession.
Agreement to Terms and Conditions
By submitting an order, customers agree to the Terms and Conditions of Hammy’s Homemade.
